Auto City Classic - Tempest

The Pontiac Tempest (1961–1970) was Pontiac's compact and later mid-size, sharing its platform with the Buick Skylark and Olds F-85. The 1961–1963 first-generation Tempests used a unique 'rope drive' transaxle layout. The 1964–1970 Tempests are the muscle-era platform — most importantly as the body the GTO was built on, with the LeMans trim above the regular Tempest.
