Auto City Classic - Chrysler

Walter P. Chrysler founded his namesake company in 1925, and from the start the brand positioned itself as the engineer's choice — high-compression sixes, hydraulic brakes, and Floating Power engine mounts when competitors were still catching up. Chrysler's classic-era highlights include the bullet-fendered late-1940s Town & Country woodies, the legendary 'Forward Look' fin cars of 1957–61 styled by Virgil Exner, the letter-series 300 grand tourers (300B through 300L) powered by Hemi and wedge V8s, and the New Yorker and Imperial flagships that anchored the upper end of the Mopar lineup.

Restoration projects most often involve the 300 letter and non-letter cars, New Yorker, Newport, Town & Country, LeBaron, Cordoba, and Fifth Avenue, along with the unique aluminum-bodied Prowler from the late 1990s.
