Auto City Classic - Packard

Packard was, for the first half of the 20th century, the most prestigious American luxury marque — the brand that defined what 'fine motor cars' meant. From its founding in 1899 through the merger with Studebaker in 1954 and the marque's end in 1958, Packard built straight-eights and V12s, then V8s, with a fanatical focus on quiet, smooth, durable engineering. The Caribbean of 1953–56 and the Patrician of 1951–56 represent the pinnacle of postwar Packard luxury, while the Hawk and Packard Hawk closed out the marque on a note of late-1950s style.
