Auto City Classic - Edsel

The Edsel is one of the most famous case studies in American business — a brand Ford launched with enormous fanfare in 1957, and unceremoniously killed in November 1959 after just three model years. The cars themselves are actually well-built, well-engineered Mercurys and Fords underneath, and the polarizing 'horse-collar' grille that supposedly doomed them has aged into one of the most distinctive looks of the late-1950s American automobile.

Because production was so short, every surviving Edsel is collectible.
