Auto City Classic - Willys

Willys-Overland built civilian cars and trucks from 1908 through 1963 (when the Willys name was retired by Kaiser), but the company is best known for one thing: building the original MB military Jeep during World War II, the rugged little 4×4 that became the literal blueprint for every Jeep that followed. The civilian CJ-2A of 1945 brought the Jeep concept home, and the Willys-built pickup, Station Wagon, and Sedan Delivery of the late 1940s and 1950s were among the first all-steel civilian wagons in America.
