Auto City Classic - Superbird

Plymouth - Superbird

The Plymouth Superbird (1970) was the winged NASCAR aero-warrior — a Road Runner with a pointed nose cone, 23-inch tall rear wing, and 426 Hemi or 440 Six Pack power, built in limited numbers (around 1,920 total) to homologate the design for stock-car racing. With Richard Petty famously campaigning a Superbird, the model has become one of the most valuable American collector cars ever sold.
