The International 9700 was a heavy-duty cabover Class 8 freight tractor — a step up from the 9600 in capacity. With tilting cab, large-displacement diesel options, and long-haul freight configurations, the 9700 served regional and over-the-road fleets through the 1980s and into the 1990s.
