Auto City Classic - DeSoto

Chrysler launched DeSoto in 1928 to slot between Plymouth and Chrysler in the corporate ladder, and the brand had a strong 33-year run before being discontinued in 1961. DeSoto is best remembered today for the wraparound-windshield Firedome, the Hemi-powered Adventurer performance models of 1956–59, and the towering tailfins of the 1957–59 Forward Look cars — arguably some of the most flamboyantly styled American cars ever built.
