The Chrysler Windsor (1939–1961) was Chrysler's entry-level full-size for more than two decades. The prewar Windsors (1939–1942), early-postwar 'long-fender' 1946–1948 cars, squarer 1949–1954 cars, Forward Look 1955–1961 cars, and the unique Hemi-powered 1955–1956 Windsors all have their own dedicated followings.
