The Chrysler Crown Imperial was the senior Chrysler-badged Imperial offering across the 1940s and early 1950s, before Imperial split off as its own brand in 1955. Crown Imperials of this era include long-wheelbase formal sedans and limousines, with hand-built body work and the senior eight- and Hemi-V8 powertrains.
