Auto City Classic - Nova

Chevrolet - Nova

The Chevrolet Nova began in 1962 as the top trim level of the Chevy II compact, and went on to become a beloved performance platform in its own right. The 1968–74 third-generation Nova is the strongest collector favorite, with the SS396 of 1968–70 and the SS350 throughout the run delivering big-block- and small-block-sized punch in a relatively light X-body chassis. Yenko Sport-prepared Novas with the L72 427 are some of the most valuable Chevys of any era.

Most Nova restoration work centers on the 1962–67 Chevy II/Nova, the highly desirable 1968–74 third generation, and the 1975–79 fourth-generation cars. Reproduction body panels, glass, weatherstrip, interior soft trim, and SS-correct cosmetic parts are widely available.
