Auto City Classic - Corvette

The Chevrolet Corvette has been America's sports car since 1953, and across eight generations (C1 through C8) it has continually redefined what's possible from a domestic two-seater. The solid-axle C1 (1953–62) introduced the fiberglass-body formula; the C2 Sting Ray (1963–67) added independent rear suspension and produced the only-year split-window 1963 coupe; the C3 (1968–82) carried the Mako-Shark styling through the muscle and malaise eras; and the C4 (1984–96) brought the modern Corvette into the digital age with the ZR-1 'King of the Hill' as its flagship.

Project Corvettes most often involve the C1 solid-axle cars, the highly collectible C2 Sting Ray (especially L88, L89, and 427-equipped examples), the C3 in all its variants, the C4 with the LT5-powered ZR-1, and the early C5 of 1997–2004. Reproduction and reconditioned components are well-supported across bodywork, interiors, glass, brakes, and powertrain.
