The Chevrolet Caprice (1965–1996) was Chevy's full-size flagship, sitting above the Impala. Major eras: 1965–1970 cars, 1971–1976 'glass house' fullsize cars, 1977–1990 downsized B-body cars, and 1991–1996 'whale' B-body — the last of which is particularly popular for the Caprice 9C1 police package and the LT1-powered Impala SS variant of 1994–1996.
