Auto City Classic - Taxicab

The Checker Taxicab is the iconic American taxi — yellow Marathons used by fleet operators in New York, Chicago, and dozens of other cities through the 1960s, 1970s, and into the 1980s. Built on heavy-duty taxi-spec frames with reinforced suspension and Chevrolet drivetrains, surviving ex-fleet taxis are popular restoration projects with strong movie-and-TV appeal.
