The Cadillac Brougham was a top trim level on the DeVille and Fleetwood, then a standalone model from 1987 through 1992. The standalone Brougham was a body-on-frame rear-drive luxury sedan in the traditional Cadillac mold, while front-wheel drive was becoming the norm — making it a favorite of buyers who preferred the older formula.
